BA (Hons) Social Pedagogy
The BA
(Hons) in Social Pedagogy is offered
in a partnership between the University of Aberdeen, the Camphill
School in Aberdeen (CSA) and participating communities and
organisations. The degree and its associated awards are
accepted by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as
professionally recognised qualifications for workers in the care
sector.
Social pedagogy is a
holistic professional activity integrating elements of care,
education, therapeutic and creative activities in the work with
children and adults with complex needs, acknowledging the
importance of relationship and social interaction in promoting
healthy development and life.
Part Time Course at Emerson College
This part-time training course provides a formal qualification and
consolidates work experiences through an integration of practical
and theoretical approaches.
